A pop-up window is a window that interrupts while you are surfing the Internet. Pop-ups are usually advertisements that appear while you are looking up a website. However, pop-ups can be windows that provide additional information or tips that you're searching for in a website. In this case, pop-ups can be useful and help you to know more on the required information. If you have spyware or adware software installed in your computer, it will automatically allow pop-ups. Also, if a window contains some active content in it, then it cannot be blocked. For example, Internet Explorer will not block the pop-ups from the sites that are in the trusted zone. When a pop-up blocker is turned on, the pop-ups will not appear on the screen and if the pop-up blocker is turned off or disabled, pop-ups will not restricted. Pop-ups may appear in tabs or windows depending on your Internet settings.
